Those New Year’s resolutions to eat healthier and exercise more are easy to make. Sticking to them is the hard part. One great way to get motivated is to attend AARP’s Jan. 30 Boomer Academy, where you can try out some new workout ideas and get some tips – and maybe even some recipes – for healthier eating.
We’ll have experts on hand to show you the dos and don’ts and answer your questions. (Be sure to bring your favorite healthy recipe to share with others!)
Seen or heard about tai chi, Pilates, yoga and always wanted to try? Here’s your chance. Members from the First Coast YMCA will be on hand to help you try these new moves. (Wear loose-fitting clothing and bring a towel or mat.)
